YOGI-WA is a welting agent surfactant formulated for use as a wetting agent in oil-based mud.
It is a concentrated wetting agent that promotes rapid oil wetting of drill solids and barite in and between mineral and paraffinic oils, as well as in calcium or sodium brines.
It is a highly effective oil-wetting agent that prevents loss of favourable mud rheology which can occur from contamination by water-wet solids and water influx. Stability of the mud can be adjusted by varying the concentration of oil-wetting agent. High temperature of mud consume more oil-wetting agent for stability.
Trial should be conducted before operation as Over treatment with YOGI-WA (Wetting Agent) can cause a decrease in yield point and gels.
