YOGI’S SCAV-OS (Oxygen Scavenger) is a concentrated liquid solution of ammonium bisulfite.
Is a highly efficient oxygen scavenger which reacts with dissolved oxygen in the water phase. The product is applicable in all types off water based mud systems and workover, completion and packer fluids where it eliminates the oxygen and minimizes corrosion rate. It is also used in water injection system in combination with scale inhibitors and biocides. YOGI’S SCAV- OS (Oxygen Scavenger) is a concentrated solution 64-66% W/W active ammonium bisulfite , soluble in water and reacts readily with the dissolved oxygen to form sulfates. The reaction is irreversible and the precipitations can be removed by mechanical means. The recommended dosage of YOGI’S SCAV-OS (Oxygen Scavenger) is 6-7 ppm per one ppm dissolved oxygen.
